FAQ's
What should my child wear for their Trial Class?
T-shirt and leggings or dance/sports wear. We have trial shoes available to borrow for those who are trialing tap or ballet for the first time. Please make sure you give yourself an extra 5 minutes before the start of class to find a pair that fit to borrow.
Can we watch?
For students to learn, progress and maintaining focus at all times without distractions, we ask parents/guardians to wait outside the studio. We have a watching window so you can still watch from outside the studio. We have "Watching Weeks" for parents to come in and watch classes in action.
Can I leave my child?
Once enrolled then yes, you may leave your child with us.
Do we need to bring anything?
A bottle of water, any medication if needed. Please leave personal items at home - we are not liable should anything be lost or stolen, although we try our best to prevent these problems arising.
Do I need to buy uniform?
Once enrolled yes, you will need to purchase the schools set uniform for their chosen class / classes. You will receive all relevant uniform information at the trial class. Uniform is ordered via the website and is available to try on for size at the school.
Can my child take their exam?
Yes, once he/she is ready. Your child's progression and learning is constantly monitored and guided to help prepare them for the exam criterion. To ensure students gain the best out of their potential, a level of commitment and dedication would be required, should they be entered into an exam.
My child wants to have fun/wants a career in performing, is this the school for her/him?
We understand that children come to dance classes for various reasons; whether it's for fun, exercise, making new friends or wanting a dance/performing career, we have a class suitable. To cater for individual needs, classes will be a balance of fun and disciplined training with a mix of learning methods. From our experience in the dance and performing arts industry, we have the knowledge and tools to help guide students in the right direction.
